Tanya Luke is a co-owner of Belmead Physical Therapy. Currently, she does not practice at this clinic. Tanya graduated from the University of Alberta in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy (with distinction). She has completed several post graduate courses including a Diploma from the University of Alberta in Medical Acupuncture, a Certificate in Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) and her basic level (E3V3) of Manual Therapy. Tanya’s areas of Special Interest are with TMJ disorders (temporomandibular joint disorders), acupuncture and IMS.
Tanya has practiced in a wide variety of clinical settings during the past ten years. She has treated TMJ related disorders of most every kind. She has extensive experience with injuries as a result of motor vehicle accidents. Her IMS and acupuncture skills have resulted in successful outcomes for those with chronic injuries that may have not responded to more conventional types of treatment.
On her days off, Tanya likes to spend her time with her son and husband. She enjoys sports of every kind, particularly running, weight training and recreational hiking and skating. She often makes trips back home to the family farm in the Cypress Hills area of Saskatchewan and is proud of her roots! |
