Joyce Wong joined the team at Belmead Physical Therapy in August 2006. She graduated from the University of Alberta with a Masters in Science in Physical Therapy in 2005, and a Bachelors of Arts (Honours) in 2001. Joyce has since gone on to take courses in acupuncture through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute, as well as completed her Level One manual therapy course offered through the Orthopaedic Division of Canada. Joyce aims to continue training in these areas as well as become certified in Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS).
In the clinic, Joyce deals with all types of patients including those with motor vehicle injuries, post surgical recovery, TMJ disorders, injuries related to work, as well as those injured in everyday activities.
When not at work, Joyce enjoys playing ultimate frisbee, swimming, camping, and anything to maximize her time outdoors. |
