Emily Gordon graduated from the University of Alberta with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy in 2006. Emily has since gone on to take post-graduate courses resulting in a Certificate in Acupuncture from the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute, as well as completing her Level One manual therapy course through the Orthopaedic Division of Canada. She has 3 years of clinical experience working in orthopaedics, as well as acute care and inpatient rehabilitation settings.
In the clinic, Emily incorporates a variety of treatment techniques including spinal stabilization exercises, joint and neural tissue mobilization techniques, postural correction and acupuncture. She deals with various conditions including motor vehicle collision injuries, post surgical recovery, TMJ disorders, work related injuries, as well as injuries from everyday activities.
On her days off she enjoys spending time with family, friends and her wonder-dog Sparky.
